Classic Hendrix cover with blistering blues guitar.

I’ve loved the blues with a passion ever since I started playing - first bass guitar and then guitar. Hendrix, Freddie King, Rory Gallagher, Johnny Winter, T-Bone Walker, Muddy Waters, Ray Charles, Albert Collins, Albert & BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan - so many greats, and most of them no longer with us, so I hope I can pay homage in my own small way to those who have inspired me.

Hendrix has always played a major part in my musical life, both as a writer and guitarist, so it’s a natural (though daunting) step to be recording an album of his work. Asked to choose 3 songs to record, I shortlisted 9! This was the 2nd track we did. We only had one day to record, but we did 'em all - live!
